On The Fence?

Are you new to the neighborhood? Maybe you’re on the fence about the Homeowners Association? The realtor said it was voluntary, so why should I join? If you came from a neighborhood with a Property Management Firm like I did, you were probably glad to get rid of them and all their restrictions and high fees. Bluefields Homeowners Association is different.

To begin, it is VOLUNTARY. We won’t put a lien on your property if you fall behind on your dues. We don’t care what pattern of wallpaper you have in the bathroom.

Secondly, dues are $50.00 annually, not weekly or monthly. The money goes to fund improvements around the neighborhood like those copper topped signs you see when you enter Bluefields, Neighborhood Watch Program, and landscaping and cleanup days.

Lastly, you get to enjoy events like the upcoming Neighborhood Pincic on June 9th and Autumn Bonfire in October. We appreciate residents who want to band together to improve our neighborhood and make sure Bluefields has a voice in Nashville, which is why we try so hard to show our gratitude. This applies to those neighbors who have, moved into Bluefields / Bluefield Square in the last 3-4 months.

Senior Discount

BHA will offer a discounted membership rate for our Senior Neighbors. All residents over the age of 65 can join the BHA for the annual rate of $35.00. We wanted to honor our Senior Neighbors with a discount and make it more affordable to participate in the BHA. Those of us who haven’t yet reached this age of distinction can still join for $50.00. When you look at all that the BHA does to better our neighborhood, it’s hard to reason why you shouldn’t join, especially at 3-4 dollars a month.
